Montclair has great food of so many varieties, it can be hard to know where to go on any given night. There’s Peruvian, Ethiopian, and for Mexican, Casa Piquin. The setting down below the street level makes it feel more secluded, though the large open space gets noisy on popular nights. It’s BYOB, so if you bring wine or Tequila, they can mix it up for Sangria or Margaritas. The food is very authentic and comes in huge portions. The chimichanga, a fried burrito, was massive and packed with flavor, and didn’t get repetitive. Service is pretty fast too, so it works well if you have plans for after dinner.

Great place to go with a large group. They also make great sangria and margarita mix... so just bring wine or tequila and have a great night out.
Amazing food, the place is cozy and the attention superb. They didn't have everything they needed for one of our meals. So they compromised by adding more of another ingredient. It came out amazing.
