I have moved several times in my life and Penske is by far the worse truck rental on earth. They promised me furniture pads and I never got them, the store was closed by the time I went back to get them. The girl behind the counter is way to busy to give customer service, and the manager that I was dealing with was immature and cocky. DONT USE PENSKE. THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY. They don't keep their word. Some of my furniture was ruined because I did not get the furniture pads. If Had known they didn't have them I could have been prepared with something else.
Moving is never fun but the staff at Penske Montclair made one piece of it so easy. Frankie was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I will definitely be recommending all my family and friends to her when ever they need to rent a truck. Thank you again for the excellent service!!!
Initially was told via email that I could pick up the truck at 7:30 AM. While setting up the reservation on the phone it was pushed back to 11:30. The morning of the move I was called and informed I wouldn't be able to pick up the truck until 12:30. Arrive at 12:30 and I'm informed the driver was in traffic and should be there shortly. At 1:30 I have the truck and am able to start moving. The 12 ft truck handled fine and everything else went smoothly (I was able to drop off the truck after hours at a separate location with ease), but it was annoying having a move get delayed by 6 hours.
