Really good Ethiopian food with warm service! The decor is very inviting too! The people who serve here are very personable and sometimes you might catch the owner herself greeting and chatting with guests. If you love some ethnic and yummy food, then this is the place for you. My personal favorite is their Doro Kay Wet and an egg dish with a spicy gravy. Their injera is soft, fluffy and addictive! My husband and I, being foodies, always find an excuse to get ourselves here. Also, I must add the fact that Montclair's downtown is one of my favorite places to hangout as well! Give Mesob a try, you will see yourself returning!
Absolutely everything on the menu here is fantastic! The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and the prices are very reasonable. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in New Jersey.
I really enjoy coming here because the food is really good quality and tasty. The staff is friendly, although not always attentive. I always order the meat sampler only because it gives me a combo of meat and veggies that's deliciously filling. While the food is great, I would skip the dessert as it's nothing special.

Delicious Ethiopian food in downtown Montclair. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for the platter sizes. Great vegetarian options!
Tip: Don't fill yourself up with the bread they bring to the side. Eat the bread underneath the food instead. We made this mistake and were too stuffed to eat it.
